1. BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
In order to make a booking with us, write your name, address, phone number and estimated time of your arrival. Your confirmation letter will be sent automatically after you have made a reservation. Reservation is compulsory. Please save nature, you don´t need to print confirmation letter!2. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The room is at your disposal from 3pm on the day of your arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 11 am. You can leave your luggages to the hostel. For safety reasons only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed. Please let us know your estimated time of arrival at least couple of days beforehand. In order to stay in Hostel Café Koti every guest must have a valid ID with them.3. PAYMENT
A valid payment card is required to make a reservation. The card will be verified at the time of booking, and the reservation will be charged according to the booking terms either 1 day or 30 days before the start of the stay. If, for any reason, the payment has not been charged before arrival, it must be paid upon check-in at the hostel. Additional services can be paid either at the time of booking or on-site. We accept most major debit and credit cards as well as cash (in euros).4. CANCELLATION, CHANGES AND NO SHOW
Cancellation
terms vary depending on the reservation dates and special conditions within the
hostel. Possibility to cancel the reservation without charges depend on the
chosen price terms on the time of the reservation. These special terms and
conditions are advised to be noted when making the reservation. The
customer needs to read the valid terms and conditions and accept the
reservation terms and conditions which are valid during the reservation before
making the reservation. We reserve the right to change terms and
conditions.
STANDARD RATE – FREE CANCELLATION
The
reservation can be canceled free of charge according to the following booking conditions:
April 1st – October 31st (booking start date)
The reservation will be charged 1 day before the arrival date. Cancellation is free of charge if made by 3:00 PM (local time) on the day before arrival. If the reservation is cancelled later or in case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged. Taxes are included in the price.
November 1st – March 31st (booking start date)
The reservation will be charged 30 days before the start date of the stay. Cancellation is free of charge if made at least 30 days before the start date of the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled later or in case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged. Taxes are included in the price.
Free cancellation for group reservations is possible up to 30 days before the start of the stay, regardless of the arrival date. Group booking terms apply to reservations that include at least five accommodation units. If the reservation is cancelled later or in case of a no-show, the full amount of the booking will be charged. Taxes are included in the price. For group bookings, we kindly request a list of arriving guests to be provided no later than 7 days before the arrival date.
OFFER RATE
Accommodation offers without the right to change: It is not possible to make changes to accommodation offer bookings. It is stated in the reservation price if the given price is an offer price.
CANCELLATIONS DUE MEDICAL REASONS
In serious medical injuries or illnesses, the cancellation of the reservation is required to be informed as soon as possible and provide an official medical certificate which enables to cancel the reservation and payment compensated with only office fees reduced (15 € per room). Cancellation needs to be done before the accommodation starts. The official medical certificate or other reliable document needs to be delivered within 14 days of the cancellation date. If the certificate or document is delivered later than 14 days, the compensation will not be paid. Cancellation made during the accommodation stay or the discontinuing of the vacation does not give the right for the compensation. Travel insurance is advised to be checked in case of the cancellation of the reservation.
5. PETS
Pets are welcome to stay with us in few rooms. Dormitories aren´t suitable for pets. Well behaving pets and their owners can also join at our Café. Cleaning fee after a furry friend is 15 euros. Please let us know about your pet beforehand, so we can tell if we have pet friendly rooms available.6. RESPONSIBILITY ON YOUR VALUABLES
The hostel is not responsible for damage or disappearance of valuables whilst your stay. Keep a good care of your belongings.7. GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY ON DAMAGE
As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet in the hostel room or in hostel premises. This applies also to the hostel furniture and other equipment, other guests in the hostel or their property. Hostel Café Koti has rights to charge the costs of caused damages at the hostel from the customer. Our home is your home, treat it with respect!8. MINORS
Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to stay in dormitories. Families with small children are recommend to book a private room. There are few rooms with possibility of extra bed. Cribs are available on request beforehand (limited quantity). Please notice beforehand.9. GROUP RESERVATIONS

You can book additional services during your stay at Hostel Café Koti. We offer laundry facilities, a private sauna, bike rentals, and more!11. LATE ARRIVALS
You’re welcome to make a reservation and check in even outside our reception hours. When arriving late, you can easily check yourself in using our self-service kiosk.
We’ll send you detailed instructions for late check-in by email 1–2 days before your arrival. If you already know you’ll be arriving late, please let us know when you make your reservation so we can be ready to welcome you. Please remember that self-service check-in is available once the reservation payment has been completed.
If you’ve booked through an external booking site, we might not receive your email address. Please make sure you receive the late check-in instructions in good time before your arrival. If you haven’t received them, contact us before reception closes so we can send them to you.
